Holistic automation
SEW-EURODRIVE has solutions for every section of the sorter – from the infeed and main drivetrain to the chute.
Flexible and scalable
Automation, communication, and energy transfer – all from a single source or separate solutions? The choice is yours.
Wear-free and low-maintenance
Main drive, energy transfer, and communication work smoothly. This keeps the outlay for maintenance and service to a minimum.
Cutting startup time
The MOVILINK® DDI single-cable technology ensures rapid and simple startup of the system components.
Sorting systems are just as diverse as the goods they transport. Whether cross-belt sorters, tilt tray sorters, or shoe sorters, our drive and automation solutions for sorting machines are tailored to your needs. One key benefit is that our well-designed drive solutions operate quietly and almost without friction.
Additional advantages:
Particularly in the materials handling systems of distribution centers, which operate in continuous duty, energy efficient decentralized drive and automation solutions offer high energy and cost savings. The CM3C.. and DR2C.. permanent-field synchronous motors, for example, meet the requirements of energy efficiency class IE5 – the highest class currently. As a result, it is possible to cut energy requirements and reduce the connected load. One additional advantage of this high degree of efficiency is that it significantly restricts the heat generation of the drives. This means they can operate without fans, and are thus considerably quieter than conventional drive systems.
